Vision Statement

We are a family growing together in God’s love through worship, teaching, prayer, fellowship and evangelism, so that as God’s people we make Jesus Lord of our lives and proclaim Him by word and action to Lydbrook, the Forest of Dean and the world.

What we believe

• That there is one God who exists eternally as three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• That Jesus Christ was a real person, born in Palestine 2000 years ago, who is also the Son of God, sent to bring humanity back into relationship with God, and whose death and resurrection changed the course of history.
• That the Bible tells us how humanity came to know God and enables us to learn about Jesus Christ, his life and teaching. We believe the Bible can still help us live our lives today.

Leadership

The Deacons provide the main oversight for the church, dealing with everyday issues such as maintaining the building and finance as well as seeking God’s guidance for the future direction of the church.
